Features May Include:- SUSPENSION/DAMPING
Both the rear shock absorber and the 35 mm upside-down fork from WP Suspension guarantee ultimate damping and responsiveness. Thanks to the optimised tuning, the telescopic fork excels with even higher reserves against bottoming out in MY 2014. As ever, rebound and compression damping can be adapted to track and rider in no time at all.
- COOLING SYSTEM
Like the big bikes, the 50 SX has a liquid cooling system which even cools the crankcase. Generously-sized radiators ensure outstanding heat dissipation for high reliability even in extreme conditions.
- CLUTCH
Developed by KTM, the centrifugal multi-disc automatic clutch provides easily manageable acceleration and makes riding the motorcycle easy. It can be adjusted to the special requirements of the track and the rider without special tools.
- WHEELS
Just like the big KTM factory machines, the 50 SX Mini is also equipped with ultra-light, black anodised, aluminium rims. A redesigned rear wheel hub guarantees that the bike easily withstands the biggest jumps as well. The fitted Pirelli Scorpion knobblies provide perfect grip on every surface. As a result of the performance and application of the front brake have been perceptibly improved again.
- GRAPHICS
Derived from the full-size SX bikes, the graphic design makes the small KTM look even cooler. Its frame has a super-rugged polymer coating in charcoal grey metallic.
- WATER COOLING
The KTM 50 SX Mini's liquid-cooling system, with two large radiators and additional cooling for the crankcase, prevents the engine overheating, even under the most extreme loads. Besides that, the smallest KTM can still take a fair bit of punishment - from enemy contact to contact with the ground.
- WHEELS
Like the big KTM factory racers, the 50 SX Mini has super lightweight, black anodized aluminum rims.
- CLUTCH
The centrifugally controlled, multi-disc automatic clutch developed by KTM delivers easily controllable acceleration and makes riding this bike the easiest thing in the world. It can be adjusted in no time at all, without special tools, to the specific requirements of both track and rider.
- BRAKES
Front and rear disc brakes by Formula ensure the best deceleration. In order to optimize performance, the rear brake disc was enlarged for 2014.
- RADIATORS
Just like the big KTM bikes, the 50 SX Mini is also equipped with water cooling that even cools the crankcase. Generously dimensioned radiators ensure excellent heat dissipation and therefore high reliability, even under extreme loads.
- GRAPHICS
The graphic design derived from that of the full-size SX bikes makes the little KTM even cooler. Its frame has a hardwearing plastic coating in anthracite metallic.
- HANDLEBAR
The ergonomic Renthal handlebar made from a high-quality aluminium alloy ensures the highest levels of stability and safety. A Renthal crash pad around the centre brace protects the rider from hard knocks.
